Child Care Room
Our Child Care Room care attendants have been Safe Sanctuary trained and have obtained the Commonwealth of PA required clearances. Child Care services are available during 8:15am and 10:45 am worship services for ages 18months to age 10.
Child care provides a safe nurturing environment for toddlers through grade school while their parents attend church services. Care is provided during both worship services. Children are always encouraged to remain in the sanctuary with parents during worship if perferred by the parents.
Proverbs 22:6 states that we should "Teach a child how he should live, and he will remember it all his life." The goal of our Children's ministries is to share Christ with the children of the community as well as the children of Grace Church. Various age level classes are offered during the 9:30 to 10:30 Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings. Easter Bible School, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Bible School and other special events are available throughout the year. For more information, visit our Kids & Youth page.
Tweens Scene (ages 10-12) meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month from 6p-7:30p. We follow the Mechanicsburg School District calendar (no school/no meeting). The group meets in the Osman House, adjacent to the church parking lot. This is a time for a light meal, Bible Study, crafts, games, and more. Bring a friend to this free Tweens Scene!

Community Dinner (Free for All)
Join us the first Wednesday of evening month from 5pm-6pm for a free dinner, a time to catch up with new and old friends, and more. No reservations needed, all are welcome!
Education Ministries for Adults
The purpose is to help individuals grow toward Christian maturity through learning the content and meaning of the Bible, seeing their lives more clearly through God's perspective, and to better align their values with those of God and to become more skilled in serving God. Adult classes are held during the 9:30 to 10:30 Sunday morning time period with open opportunities for the formulation of additional classes. Additional study sessions are available throughout the year.
Mission Field Ministries
Grace Church offers ongoing support to local organizations such as New Hope Ministries, Mission Central, the United Methodist Home For Children. Seasonal campaigns for Meals on Wheels, Neighborhood Center and several others are a regular part of our local missions. Support of global Mission Programs such as UMCOR and others take place on a seasonal or as needed basis.
We read in Psalm 100:2, "Worship the Lord with gladness, enter his presence with joyful song." Our Chancel Choir sings in the 10:45 service and rehearses at every other week, see calendar for dates. The Children's Choir sings on the first Sunday of the month at the 10:45 service. Rehearsals for the children are held at 9:15 Sunday mornings.
In order to provide support through prayer to those that are hurting physically, emotionally or socially, there are several approaches available. The Prayer Chain is an ever-ready system or spreading the word when there is need of prayer for a member, friend or some individual or situation in the immediate or larger community. Prayer needs may also be reported to the church office. Several prayer groups meets throughout the week.

Join us Wednesdays, 6pm in the Grace Church Sanctuary for a mid-week boost as we explore the power of prayer through devotionals, prayer petitions, and silent time of reflection and meditation. All are welcome to attend, and find peace in the sanctuary, and Grace of God always! God is Good, All the Time!
Our ministry program will transform plastic grocery and store bags into bed mats for the homeless - one crochet hook at at time! The plastic sleeping mats, which come with a strap, are portable, easily dry off when wet and keep bugs away. Anyone can volunteer for this ministry program - bring the kids, bring the grandparents! Bring your plastic grocery and store bags!
The goal of Youth Ministries is to assist youth with their spiritual walk with God. The purpose is to provide Youth with opportunities to become more involved in the community and to share with each other during youth events.
